you might know that there are 7 habits to effective people, one of them being
proactivity. In this blog post, we shall be discussing why ‘being proactive’ is
an important trait. So, what is proactivity?
In simple
terms, being proactive means thinking about the future and focusing on the
things you can control instead of all those you cannot. If you are proactive,
you make things happen instead of waiting for them to happen. Breaking down the
word, we get ‘active’ which means doing something and ‘pro’ which means before.
So, if you are proactive, you are ready for something before it happens.
Being
proactive means, you choose to respond to something instead of reacting to it.
You take action on the situation yourself instead of giving control to
circumstances beyond your control. In this way, not only are you ready for any
situation ahead of you, you can actually become a better and more active
version of yourself.
